Important Notice – Vehicle Glass Care

All automotive glass is delicate by nature and can be damaged or marked with minimal impact. Please handle with caution.

 

Inspection on Completion

We strongly advise checking your vehicle and any glasswork immediately after installation, delivery, or collection. Once you have accepted the work, we are no longer liable for any issues discovered later.

Items supplied in line with your order or specific instructions cannot be returned unless pre-arranged with us in writing. Glass that has been manufactured or sourced to order is non-returnable.

We accept no liability for damage or faults involving components or glass supplied by the customer. This includes issues such as cracking during fitting, failure of aged seals or fittings, or any complications arising from corrosion, deterioration, or previously damaged frames or rubbers.

 

Payment Terms

All payments must be made in full upon completion unless a prior credit agreement has been confirmed in writing. These terms apply to all transactions unless alternative conditions have been formally agreed.

 

Ownership and Recovery Rights

  • Legal ownership of the goods remains with Motorscreen Ltd until full payment has been received, regardless of when the risk passed to you.
  • If goods are resold by you before payment has been settled, the proceeds of that sale are deemed to belong to Motorscreen until your account is cleared in full.
  • In the event of non-payment, we reserve the right to enter any premises, property, or vehicle under your control to recover our goods. We are not liable for unavoidable damage during the recovery process, and you agree to indemnify us for any reasonable costs incurred.

 

Warranty Information

All replacement glass installations carried out by Motorscreen are covered by a 12-month guarantee from the invoice date. This warranty covers:

  • Installation
  • Craftsmanship
  • Leaks directly resulting from the fitting

All warranty claims must be reported directly to Motorscreen Ltd, and any associated rectification work must be completed by our own technicians. If the work is carried out by a third party, the warranty is void and no costs will be reimbursed.

Warranty work will be completed during standard business hours.

Please note:
If issues such as corrosion, previous body damage, or extreme weather conditions were identified at the time of fitting and noted on your invoice(Section 2), the warranty may be excluded.

Warranty coverage is also suspended if payment has not been received within the agreed timeframe. Additionally, the guarantee is non-transferable and does not extend to new owners if the vehicle is sold or transferred.

 

Windscreens and Beyond

Motorscreen covers all automotive glass—windscreens, side windows, rear screens, and more. If the damage is beyond safe repair, we’ll handle the replacement quickly and professionally using quality materials and skilled fitters.
